How do you install OC?

Hi everyone,

I downloaded OC version 1.34.
I have steam installed in the following path: F:\Program files\Steam\

I installed the OC mod in the following path:F:\Yusuf Program files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\obsidian

When i start up steam i don't see the OC mod anywhere.

Steam has a tab called "My Games", am i supposed to see the mod there or am i to start up Half Life 2 and see the mod as a menu option.

Are there screen shots of this setup process anywhere?

I am really in the dark here.

The cracked half life 2 was a previous thread.
I don't live in the states, getting an original half life 2 will take 2 to 3 weeks for me. On top of that it'll cost me almost 100 us dollars getting it here.(country Suiriname, South America) google it!!!
But my question isn;t about a cracked Half Life 2.
My question is how to install OC in Steam and how to work with it.
How do i get the OC menu or where do i see the OC mod in steam.

I just want to know how it starts up. It's not pointless explaining that.
Does the mod sit in steam "My games"?
a little explanation is not that hard to give?

If you have legal steam and legal hl2 (or any other sourcegame), and you have installed oc in the right path (which you did), you wouldnt have to ask us where the game shows up.
We wont give you any support on how so start oc on a pirated hl2/steam, if hl2 is that expensive in your country, try to import it (i got halo3 uk version for 35€ on amazon.com while german version would have cost me 59€ in local store)
Or try to purchase it in steam online store.

Your steam = F:\Program files\Steam\

You installed OC in = F:\Yusuf Program files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\obsidian

It should be installed in = F:\Program files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods

Are you serious dude? Just tell him to restart the game. The forum is pointless if it about just trolling and complaining over someone else and their life decisions.

Simply say, "With a steam version of half life, or any source-based game, Obsidian Conflict, and any other addons/mods added outside of steam, require a restart of just the steam client. Just exit out and reopen it. Tadaa"

Restart the steam client pal. for all addons. might you try No more room in hell, it is very fun too. Anything outside of steam that is added to the library externally, needs a steam client restart.
