Media coverage!

Have you guys considered compiling a trailer and asking Valve if they would be so kind as to put it in their free media section! kinda like what they did for source forts! I know this is probably way down on the list of priorities but It would be of benefit.

Just an Idea, discuss...

Also, can't valve add us to the mods section in steam? Synergy is there, Obsidian isn't!

Miroku and I just learned how to record a video, maybe he would want to do a trailer with me, using Source Recorder this time.

hell, even Pirates, Knights and Vikings 2 aswell as Insects Infestation. And they only been out a week or two?

Trixtr (JSC armageddon) made a really good trailer for OC.
It's on youtube..search for Obsidian Conflict.

Yeah, it's good, but it's way too long! We need a one minute trainler, not a 13 minute trailer! No matter how good it is, people will get bored after a few minutes anyway!

Yes. It's too long, doesnt even show any good coop action. Also editing fraked.

We need one that's at most 5 minutes long showing off features and maps at the same time in online gameplay, not offline.

I think five minutes is a little much.

Easily from one minute to three, it's just long enough to show off obsidians premier features, but short enough to hold their attention.

And it needs music, not songs. I hate fan made trailers where they just choose some random band they like as all the sound you ever hear. Lots of people wont like the band you like but at least with music, you don't hear nonsense learics that have nothing to do with the game they're playing.
