hosting a game

Post by bob_mcbob »

Hi,

Im new to obsidian and so far its pretty good. I played Sven Coop about 10 years ago non stop on me home lan and this looks like an equily good replacement. I especially like the starship troopers map as it reminds me of a map called Horde that came with SC which we absolutly klled.
.
Anyway, im trying to host a game so my bro can join, I can start one ok but when I invite him it always says server not responding - likewise he gets the same if he hosts.

Are we doing owt wrong??

cheers

Check your firewall and router for NAT.

I host my games with this: map XXXXX;heartbeat;sv_lan 0;sb_password XXXXX

This to console and should work.
