Well, then people will have to live without custom weapon models. I know, torture, right? :roll:

Or just have ironsites increase a weapon's accuracy by a lot. That way you can have long distance battles still be long distance without it lasting 5 minutes or using scoped weapons and rocket launchers. EX: The 1st encounter with a combine patrol right after you get the jeep in Wildfire. That way people can still have their oh-so-needed custom models without being a major gameplay changer.

Crosshair can be disabled per-map/server using mp_allowcrosshair.

I knew that, also you can disable custom weapon models by packing the default ones with the map.
