Oc_Trainride Campaign
Heya all, sorta came back from the (giant pile) of dust since i kinda feld like makking another obsi map,
Kinda been busy with a campaign for portal2 coop
And quite some render models on deviantart
Oh yea and school, i gues...
Anyways it will be another combine styled map, probley (not sure yet) with a money system and custom textures.
Its still quite a heavy wip, and time is very short due the huge ammount of RL work i got atm but i will try to give this priority when free ^^
The idea is that your inside a combine train and that you need to take control over it, later on (if Hammer allows it with map brushes) get to a station and blow up the world overthere (still need to think this out)

General idea:
You managed to get out of the train, Ell will take care of the train by herzelf since she has full acces. yourzelf however are stuck in a canal system of the combine, deep in the ground. you need to find a way out.

Looks good for me.
We will see the outside from the train? Any special event like a wagon getting derailed and having to jump to the next one?

You will see a bit of the outside of the train, but nothing too schocking (walking between the connection points of the train) also ill make some or 1 train car totaly open.
As for the derail, i dont think ill do somthing like this, due the problem that hammer is kinda limited with some things.

I like what I see so far.
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.

Glad you like the looks of it, as for the train yea its quite large sized, also its running on a dual track.

now thats a big train if it runs on 2 tracks. also nice lab area makes you wonder just what they are using it for.

Hmm probley, they probley builded it since they tought they gonna need it. headcrabs/zombies is a high chance, or maby merging cats with humans, nobody knows yet, maby they finaly know it after they totaly complete the train.

Added a new pic, btw does some1 kno how to let a func_tanktrain slowly change its speed with a ease in/out effect trough a i/o ? (not trough a path track)

I like the idea of the map being in a huge train while trying to survive through a horde of enemies! so far it looks pretty amazing!
