For the grenades I see two options. I prefer the first but either one is good.

I like them, gonna use the shotgun for the Spas-12 perhaps, as for the grenade, seeing as how it is a custom model it will defiantly will be used.

Considered, if it isn't see through I can put a transparent material over it, though I have no idea how to correct the actual iron sights. Keep these suggestions coming guys, I like what I am seeing.

Personally I think I'd like to see the SMG with this model:

It would fit the animation and everything. Not to mention theres a bit of variety on what could be on the model.


Heres some ideas for the Alyx Gun (these are models replacing guns in CSS, I figured there would be some things that would fit the pistol and smg animations on the alyx gun):

Well to be honest, I have seen way to much of that SMG in SMOD. It is still a good SMG but I am simply tired of seeing it.

Animations for me, I also kinda like sticking to the original idea of the gun too. Probably wouldn't look to nice seeing everything that uses the mp5 with their hands clipping through the grenade launcher holding an imaginary grip.

You do know I am doing new animations for all the guns right Tallfire?
Edit: Changed the OP to say "All new animations" to avoid confusion.

I'm talking about the third person and npc animations for the guns. Or is that part of the plan? If so I'm all for the idea. Although I would rather see the MP5 that arclight suggested because I don't think the smod MP5 has a trigger for its grenade launcher.

So the guns will only be first person? You will look like you're holding an MP5 in first person but you're really holding an MP7/SMG1?

Yep, this is strictly a v_model pack since I think having a player with a Barrett going through his stomach is a bit weird.

I don't see how someone could care so much about world models that they simply screw the view models. I honestly don't care at all about world models and prefer to not have them. I see them more as a bonus if I end up liking them. The view models is what really matters though.

Atleast if theres no w_model,it makes you think that only you is cool enough to use them while others use old weapons.
