Friendly Human Grunts - Voice Lines

Post by Taggart »

I decided I'd do voicelines for friendly(or not, who cares) human grunts. If we get a friendly human grunt NPC, who knows, these might be used.

TEST VOICECLIPS(definately not final)

Joining Player's Squad
Joining Player's Squad 2
Enemy Spotted - Antlion
Enemy Spotted - Strider
Idle Chatter - Jackson
Idle Chatter - Coverup
Idle Chatter - Drill Instructor Barnes

so yeah that's how they are right now

may/may not make one with some different lines and a different voice that doesn't have the radio effect, so grunts without gasmasks/whatever else covering their faces don't sound like douchebags

also suggestions for lines, if you will

hmm, how about the following quotes? There are from the "Murphy´s law" (military version) that are in the manual of Opposing Force:
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
When in doubt, empty your magazine.
If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid.
Friendly fire isn't.
Anything you do can get you shot - including doing nothing.
Professional soldiers are predictable, but the world is full of amateurs.

Maybe changing it a bit can be valid, for example "There´s not Friendly Fire".

If you ever make some of them say "frak", please make a few say "FRAK!" instead :P
