Server working, I crash when I join

I'm getting a dedi set up for my clan, but whenever I join I crash, I've got no leads onto what could be the problem...

All my friends even my bro on the same router/isp can get in.

So I'm pretty sure it's my computer, as I said I don't know what the problem could be... I tried disabling the motd (I don't know how anyway derp) to see if that was what was crashing me, but I can join all other OC servers fine so it defines the problem down to my computer joining my server.

So if anyone has had this problem before, help me or something, I've been able to join my server before, maybe a program is conflicting with it?

EDIT: Now only my brother and his friend can get in... 3 other people crash when they get in...

I managed to get in twice but now it's crashing me again

Are you running the server and playing ont he same machine?

Can you host other mods without troubles?

It could be many things

Yea I'm running a dedi on my computer. I'll try it with CS:S

K tried to get CS:S but the dedi won't launch... I can join my own TF2 and GMod server.

I can't get CS:S to work but I think CS:S is similar to OC than TF2 and GMod are.

not really...

CS:S run on HL2 / Episode 1 Engine

GMod runs on a Engine version that is a conclusion to the EP1 and Orangebox Engine (or something like that, it's pretty complicated)

TF2 runs on a newer Orangebox Version (you could call i TF2 Engine, as it's basically OB + L4D + TF2 Engine)

OC runs on the orginal OB Engine, no fixes that got done on the TF2 one are applied here, so this is pretty lame (now that i mention it, GMod should run on the same engine here as it's basically only a Mod too)

the source engine has currently about 8 different versions (could me more, i didn't count them all) which is something that i really don't like

to your problem: run the server give me it's name and let me test it, if i can't join too you did setup something wrong (if it doesn't apply for me you can get the 1.34b dlls from me and send me the mdmp afterwards so that i could pin down what is wrong)

and no you can't disable the MOTD

Also are you starting your server with scrds and command prompt? or source dedi console?

K Nieco, server name is KotSC 24/7 Harvest. I think I set it so there was no password with sv_password ""

IP is 82.20.136.113:17025 cos I don't have a static ip and sometimes it doesn't show up on the server list. Btw, Nieco add me on Steam it'll be easier to chat. ALFIERULZ is my name to add me by

Fixed! People had similar problems in TF2 and they uninstalled Download Managers like Free Download Manager, I uninstalled that and everything was fine

No, I'm hosting my TF2 server on the very same machine as I'm typing now, and I just played it. It's alright. I've 3GB RAM atm fyi.
