Random OC screenshots
I don't know what the hell happened - first the bullsquid totally fraked up, after that the walls in that room where the screen is taken, went the same as well and when we got to the Garg part, all my weapon models, spraylogo and the garg fraked up.Oniyuri wrote:I want a full report on this! What the hell have happened to your graphics? Does the whole map look like that? Were you the only one to experience that problem on the server? Confused
*sigh* worfox had cubemap problems, you have this... but it all works fine for me! Anyone with suggestions why it looks like that should report it to me at once!
Not really, (AMD Athlon+ 64 2,4G, 1024 megs of ram, Radeon X800 256mb) but my computer is IN alot of crap. It takes like 7 minutes to start up, and 5 minutes to shutdown.Oniyuri wrote:Does he have a crappy computer?
I don't understand a crap about those ent-things, but the crash occured 2 times when I joined the server. The error what I got was an overtemperature error and it crashed the whole computer.Oniyuri wrote:But he was the only one who had several crashes and even crashed at all?
Could it be a problem that the entdata had reached a whopping 99.6%?

So it seems your computer might be a reason for the crashes, maybe the graphics bug as well.HBK wrote:Not really, (AMD Athlon+ 64 2,4G, 1024 megs of ram, Radeon X800 256mb) but my computer is IN alot of crap. The entdata is mentioned in the compile log. I don't really know what might happen if it exceeds 100%, but I'm sure it could cause problems for people with low end computers. The entdata tells you how much memory the entities in your map requires (or something like that).
Maybe. To be honest I have no really good ideas of why it got f*cked up. My primary guess is that you were short of system memory, but seriously, it could be anything! I would like to hear skidz' opinion on this issue. He hopefully knows more about it.HBK wrote:I play in windowed mode, can that trigger any graphical problems?
I guess this have never happened to you before?
So the problem isn't oc_tantrum? That's great to hear! Now I only have to work out why worfox's cubemaps turned out ultra bright in tantrum when playing in HDR... I play in HDR and it works fine! Why?Hyperjag3 wrote:If your computer is overheating, that is one of the main causes of corrupted video ram, which would produce what you are seeing. Get better cooling .

Can't load bsppack.dll
Could this be the cause of worfox not having proper cubemaps? It can't load bsppack.dll. Sounds like it's vital when it comes to packing files in the .bsp.
Are there other people out there having cubemaps that look like worfox's?
