I've gone through this, but I'm getting a missing material error when I click new map. Where are the Wads located? I can't seem to find them in any of the folders in Obsidian mod OR Halflife 2 folders.

I had the same problem, you must configure it with orange box.

well i already removed the ep1 things etc. so only the orangebox setup is left and i improvt that a bit...

if you follow that wiki site propably you won't have any problems

I have source SDK, source base SDK, and source base oronge box SDK. I don't have any source sdk/oronge box folder. What I do?

go into your sourcesdk folder then bin and there IS an orangebox folder (maybe you need to start SourceSDK once, with the Orangebox engine on the selection menu)

Ok i also tried to go for mapping for Obsidian conflict cus its a great mod with many stuf

I looked arround how to set up the game for Hammer followed the torturial installed the things

But i get a error Not suported 16 bits (cus i got vista 64 bits)
so i just continu the installing change the file paths and now its stil does not work ??? did any1 also made maps with vista or am i the first trying

when i start hammer i get the error
configuration info for the game is missin

then i get the error

Setup file 'gameinfo.txt'doen't exist in subdirectory 'steamApssDir\srouceMods\Obsidia\Obsidian SDK'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.

i checked the path and it says its there (but its called SteamApps NOT steamApssDir)

i did instal that program yes (like i alrdy said) but it stil does not work
i have no idea wat it is
and i also changed the paths to my paths

Obsidia -? your missing an 'n' and yes it should be steamapps not steamapss notice your spelling errors!

Can you post your game_info.txt or game_config.txt
(I can never remember which)
that's located in your: sourcesdk/bin/orangebox/bin
directory.

If your still having trouble even after shiftey's installer please.

wel here is the gameconfig but im getting the idea that it more some sofware on my comp is blocking it, its alrdy been a time that i have installed it

Some one can correct me but I don't know why you have two configs, the obsidian sdk one is not needed imo. Just the one I've quoted which seems to be fine.

Apart from:

sourcesdk\orangebox\bin\

Check this path as I have mine like this:

sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin

then correct accordingly.

indeed i misses the bin/ path but afhter i fixed it i stil get the same error
everything is how it should be but i dont know wat it can be.

Wel i gonna reinstal my comp soon and then have a retry because i think someting is blocking its becus of all the installing-deleting

Then why it's "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps" for everything else?
