It can happen after a while with OC servers, if they have been running for a long time without a restart(like 2 days or more.) then they can give that error, generally restarting them will fix it(usually the server will crash on a map before it occurs though.). lol, bad scale on the decal texture in the vmt? Try using this in the vmt on a 256x256 texture, this works ok for me and how it's done for the other lobby map textures. "LightmappedGeneric" { "$basetexture" "maps/oc_lobby/lobby_mapname" "$decal" "1" ...

this map crashes the server at a certain point in v1d, don't know what does it exactly, but it freezes it in an infinate loop type crash.

To have the best experience in the mod you need to get at least the orange box, this mod can mount content from hl2-ep2, cs:s, dod:s, and lost coast. Getting the orange box would let you play on all the maps that have content from hl2-ep2. There's a few maps that use cs:s content so it wouldn't hurt...

I do tell people joining my server that say they have the gfx bug, to create a listen server on lobby and come back. I've noticed that this glitch happens with the other hl2 coop mod(the name gets replaced) too, so it's not really a problem with OC but with ATI drivers. Didn't happen for me with my ...

You can get it to work without static mounting, you just have to go to a map that doesn't do that after starting up, like oc_lobby(start a listen server on it.), when you go back to that map it'll look fine. I have an ati card that does this, but I can get it to work correctly without static mountin...

I think I was there the that time, and yes it didn't change at the end, doesn't look like it does, don't see anything related to a changelevel or game_end in the entities. also the included res files won't work correctly on servers that have linux fdl's, don't have the proper case on some of the ent...

ATI glitch while playing a map? I have an ATI card and have only had that problem entering certain maps(after starting up the game) without coming from lobby first.

mp_playercollide should be set to 0 if it's not needed in these maps, it's quite easy to get stuck in the teleports in this map with more then 3-4 people.

:wink: They winking face of a big secret! and thanks, I am no longer crashing. The crashing is worse then before with some ati users,my self and one of my other friends crashed out like 3-4 times in an hour long period of time. Has anyone else notice missing textures on the trees on the small island?

wrong permission setting on group forum permissions(registered members group.), for this forum? phpbb3's permissions system can give me a headache sometimes lol... Couple times more difficult then phpbb2's permission system.

you shouldn't set max update rate to anything above like 33 in this mod, you can get massive bandwidth usage if it's higher, even at 33 it can hit up to 35-40kbytes/s per player(if your max_rate is higher then that.) on certain maps.
