Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
These literally just use the decompiled facial flexes of the hl2 males (or grunts, in the case of the gasmask'd ones) with eyelid lines removed if neccessary. Never had a problem with them and they work fine, so far at least.

Re: Taggart's Human Grunt Player Models (and NPCs)
Today marks the first update (out of quite a few) to these guys. It isn't the biggest, but I'm sure it'll please those of us waiting for it. NEW STUFF IN THIS UPDATE: -All 9 males have had their helmets updated. They are now the same size, and all have Cateye bands. -Male_06 has been given a red ber...

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
I'm gearing up all the currently updated stuff for an update release later today. Gonna convene with Rusty about a black medic first, though. Here's a small list of what the update is gonna contain, though; -All 9 males (obviously) -*All males have had helmets updated to be the same size, plus all n...

Re: Friendly Human Grunts - Voice Lines
And as of now I will soon be completely revisting the lines. Main changes; Generally smaller, smoother lines. Slightly more of an accent (perhaps, maybe not). Better, etc. The best example would be the contact lines. Previously I was working with somewhat funny but also rather long lines for specifi...

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
I'll be doing the SAW Guys, but I'm gonna need to find a bandana first.
Black medic and engineer may or may not be done. I'd need to find more unique facemaps first.

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
Again modifying the helmets to fix scaling in general for all heads and add the cateye bands. Also, Rusty has made a new facemap for 06 so he looks diff. from the Engineer, based on the HECU Commander from Opposing Force, and it looks damn nice. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8697486/HECU_06_Commanderface....

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
Still working on the vmts for the engineer's googles. The balaclava guy's goggles are chrome (just like in HL1) ingame, or at least they should be. I'll see soon enough. EDIT: Well they're not, so I better fix that. Also updated the helmet band for the Medic to actually look like cloth and it looks ...

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8697486/HECU_Med_Eng_Bala_Gas_NPC.jpg Shazam. Updated Medic's arms/fingers to match face skintone, added black balaclava grunt, and recompiled the gasmask grunts to the new directory. Engineer actually appears to be fine rigging-wise (in animations at least) so I'll not do a...

Re: [WIP] Human Grunt Players (with a difference)
I'm not dead and neither are these. Expect a lot of updates this weekend, as I plan to finish as much of these as I can. As of current I've got the models I am working on or planning to work on listed here: Male 01-09 (Bodygrouped with helmets, helmets w/ goggles etc, and berets) Gasmasked dudes (th...

Re: Friendly Human Grunts - Voice Lines
Right so, regarding the maskless grunt. I'm going to make the voice alot less rugged and slightly higher pitched, so he almost sounds like one of those "fresh" soldiers in typical warfilms, which I think will benifit the medic especially regarding how he looks. However, I need to learn an ...
