I got something like that working in AlienSwarm... but it is very slow... I wrote about it in my Moddb blog.

And I doubt Valve will release a real SDK anytime soon. We will probably have to wait until EP3.

If he is over sensitive, it probably has an effect similar to games with too much bloom. Where colors bleed over their surroundings.

What engine version is OC under in your SDK? (Should be Source 2007)

Also, player models not having animations could be either the above problem or a directory issue(as they use a shared animation set).

Easy. Just find the name/directory of the foot step sound files and change replace them...

Though it should be doable by changing the sound scripts...

I use my desktop as a folder. I almost never launch anything directly from it... when I want an application, I just use the Start search bar.

I suppose. But wouldn't that be the same as saying Source has cascaded shadow mapping, even though only one version(CSGO) actually does?

I just wanted to prevent any confusion. Not saying you were wrong.

That is slightly misleading. The SDK launcher supports 06, 07, 09, and MP. It launches different versions of Hammer depending on the engine branch selected in the SDK launcher.

You guys gave combine soldiers the proper code and animations for RPGs?

Whats up with the projectedtexture? This isn't CSGO, where there is always a conveniently place flashlight in screenshots.


Looks awesome though.
