Are you getting a mem dump? Its a file in the source sdk base 2007 folder created after the mod closed. Ill take a look at it if you can find it.

Your right, the fast zombie does 3 damage no matter, no skill settings. Ill add some skill settings for 1.33.

The main files that need translation are:

gameui_english.txt
Obsidian_english.txt
valve_english.txt

Once you are done, all you need todo is change the 'english' in the title to 'french'.

We will include language packs people create with the mod.

Only npc_merchants have such complex rules. I still have plans on creating a point ent based merchant tho, but not for 1.33.

I took a look at the fisherman, and the rig doesn't exactly match unfortunately. I don't know what Valve have changed, but ill look into it once I can get max working again.

i would say that the fisherman itself need some npc animations first, he has not many and therefor isn't used much, since i have no clue to do it i only can say that it would be nice to add some animations to him :O Hes rigged to the valve skeleton, so you can add any animations you wish by simply ...

Ill have too take a look. We have only really tested the stalker in episode 1, and they attack players and combine ball holders in those maps.
