Re: Steam::Init failed to find steam interface
this can't work, oc is rewriting the game path on each map load, so the vpk's will dissapear as soon as you join a server, using the method I described in the other thread is the way to properly fix it...

Re: Source SDK Base 2007 startup error?
[06.01.2014 13:16 GMT+2] https://gitlitio.us/snippets/3 - passing "debug" (without the quotes) onto the bat allows you to debug the script, everything else passed as "<mount1> <mount2> <mount...>" allows you to only run specific VPK extraction (so that you don't have to wait hour...

Re: Source SDK Base 2007 startup error?
the actual problem is bigger then just the vpk's... the engine itself provides vpk reading with the steampipe beta, the problem is that oc's mount code doesn't respect vpk based mounting, so even adding it to the gameinfo.txt has no effect as the mod overrides it... the next problem that arises is t...

Re: Need help with my dedicated server.
try to change the firewall rules to 192.168.1.50 instead of 24.131.108.66, port forwarding is only LAN internal and has nothing to do with the public IP (I assume the 24.* one is your public one) also make sure that you use -ip <lan ip, which would be 192.* here> as start parameter, rcon for example...

Re: Need help with my dedicated server.
a server starts with port 27015 and goes up to 27029, so put that instead of 27000 - 27015 (unless you use -port to set the port to something else) and the second one makes no sense, obsidian isn't an http(web) server... the reason why your server is not listed might be due to the master server prot...

Re: Game won't start with a faulty appmanifest (Steam issue)
there will be a move to source 2013, as soon as possible, but if they get source 2007 working with steampipe then we'll at least have a bit more time at our hands as porting stuff takes a lot of time PS: source 2007 still have no VPK support, so a dead end for now (even when you start source sdk 200...

Re: Game won't start with a faulty appmanifest (Steam issue)
Source SDK Base 2007 has a steampipe beta option, this might be related to your issues and might also fix mods like ours to use the game mounts again, I'm currently trying it out as I can't lose anything from converting
