Post by themoldyone »

Is it possible to get a player to play music on the server so that everyone can hear it. like youtube player for gmod but only for music.

HLSS will do what you want.

If you're looking for a server side plugin...

Sourcemod has a radio plugin that can allow people to play back radio stations ingame.

Or you could just use one of the say sound plugins to play back mp3 files, but that would mean everyone that joined your server would have to download the mp3's or wavs when they joined. Probably more annoying that HLSS.

HLDJ is quite nice but for some reason I prefer HLSS.

Why is that? Is it because of the shortcut keys? HLDJ has that function too but you have to make those in console.

No idea. Maybe because I used HLSS before I used HLDJ.
