Well currently not many people play OC so since there are a small number of servers more people will join the few server which will allow you to play actually Coop. If there are too many servers we won't be able to get alot of people onto one server.

Yes but most people use there servers off of there computers, and the host might as well be on the server or he would be ruining his hard ware for nothing.

The most common problem at the moment for servers is, that there's no linux lib version. There are less Windows Root Servers out there, because Windows is even unstable as Server Version xD.

I could host up to 2 servers if there would be linux bins. The Servers would be located in EU(Germany, Berlin).

I think skidz needs someone with a linux system to fix this.

skidz would need someone who can write the makefile compiler for the mod. That would require to share the mod's src code with someone, who knows linux.
