Because then all the dumb server admins who think "More = Better" will put up a 32 slot coop server, which NO coop map is designed for. Most aren't even designed for 16, the current max.

And since most of the players seem to be like that as well, they rather join that "popular and amazing 32 slot server" instead of the actual good coop servers that run on a slot count of 4-12 and ruin their experience.

playing coop with over 30 poeple is something i expierienced wel on hlaf life 2 dm servers. it really like worfox says ruins the gameplay since no one actualy listens to others and they discus what kind of zombie would be good against a living buritto.

I agree with you all. Just like with tf2 servers. They should be either 9 vs 9 or 6 vs 6. Aka 12 or 18.
OC should be 4 - 12 with an exception for 16 in some cases.

Making the player limit 32 WILL ruin the game. Just like how Xenon servers on sourceforts ruined sourceforts with their stupid UBER BLOCK servers. Like 300 block limit per team, even though the game is designed for 50 per team.

Ruins the game, making it a giant spamfest of useless blocks everywhere.

So a lot of people will make it a spamfest of everything. Except blocks. :P

Okay, I guess I can see more then 32 ruining the game, but I do not see how 32 would... and hell, if it ruins some maps to have too many players, make a variable for mappers to limit the amount of players the server can use for that map. Some maps should limit others.

16 vs 16 is great in CS:S TF2 and other pvp mods
i can imagine it being fun on OC pvp maps too
i wasnt ever talking about coop maps and there i guess players would join the ones with about 8 players more likely than ones with 32 players on the server in that moment

but w/e...
its not my mod so not my decision as i dont even actaully do stuff for the mod like gjsdeath for example lol
