Little Help

So i installed the mod:

1. No desktop icon created by installer...lame

2. game doesnt show in steam list......not good

3. start menu just has uninstall...not helpfull at all

4. cant remember how to create a shortcut to the game with the command line....screwed

little help please?

(plus in future versions of installer having fixed the first 3 items would be good)

second "problem" doesn't even exist. you must have done something wrong. third one is a pretty useless concern, you can int from steam. just click on the task bar steam icon once and it will show OC if you add it to faves

Restart steam, lol! You can make a shortcut to the game through steam.

look if it's C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods

That can also be the problem. Even though the installer makes you able to change the install path, don't. It HAS to be in that exact place with that exace name. Do not change anything.

hm i've come across something strange, can someone confirm that the desktop shortcut that the installer creates actually work? (i get something about that -gameidlaunch doesn't exist, anyone else?)

is it from the installer or from steam? (the steam one uses steam://rungameid/******, while the one from the installer uses the steam.exe)

yeah that's from the installer

if that works on the newest steam (not the beta one) then i've got to find a fix for my problem D:
