Thought Notepad++ was W7 only.Was going to make a stupid question but I googled the program and avaible for XP.Guess I'm lucky(not so much,next year this will be ancient)

I think they mean that it should be endorsed as the official way to fix it until the release of OC 1.36 (I think that is the version we're on now)
