Crabsynth sounds

It was an idea I had earlier, so I made it.

I like the Crab Synth, and I'd like to see it more often.
So, I thought having sounds would encourage that.

It's intended for any use you have in mind for it.
I even thought ahead, just incase someone finishes the model, or codes it.

It has sounds for it's walking, shooting, death, idle, and just a few others.
I was only supposed to be making two or three at first, but got a little carried away.

Well, yeah, I suck at explaining, so check it out if you think it's interesting.
*Edit: New link for download. Sorry about that.

Or has someone done this already? :?

You made those from scratch or got them from somewhere else?

I built them out of Hunter, Strider, Antlion Guard, and a little bit of Gunship.

Some of them are easy to tell, like the skewer, or the walking..

Thanks, and yeah, I'm sorta interested in it.

I keep thinking that I should make more CS sounds, but I feel that how many there is right now is enough..

The sounds are very good, and the ragdoll opens definitely the posibility of create a NPC (well, only will left do the code, but i think that combining the code of some existing npcs like the Antlion Guard, the Hunter and the Strider, can be made).

Forward to this!

And here we got this giant enemy crab, which you have to attack it's weak spot for massive damage...

Oh, I forgot to loop the minigun loop.
Oopsies.

Also, I was looking at the model, and I think there's another gun beside the minigun.
It's either just a piston, or it's a weapon. I keep thinking some sort of laser guided thing, like the autogun, but weaker.

Well, I may get around to removing the hiss in the current sounds, maybe touching them up.
If I do, I'll make some sounds for this possible other gun, and loop cs_minigun_loop

*Wait, does NPC loops need looped like the ambient_generics do?*

Imagining these sounds in game would be pretty spine chilling, If this ever becomes a npc i bet i would hesitate to even go near it like the first time i saw a gargantua in hl1.

Why's it that most of your posts are bumps for threads that died about a year ago?
