Decided to model my knife in 3D Modeling class, I've been using the program for about 5 days and previously modeled another knife (about 3 times) my teacher is really good so this came very easy to me, can't wait for next week since we're actually gonna model a vehicle, I'll post a pic here when I get it finished.

Lol wtf?
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.

Please do not make assumptions you are not knowledgeable enough to make - that just backfires on yourself.

When playing around in GMOD eariler, I noticed it uses a version of Source with better ShadowMapping (env_projectedtextures source icon):

Pretty sure the related code was tweaked in Source 2009 for Portal 2. I wonder if we'll ever see it, though I don't have high hopes. :/

Awesome work with the projected texture fixes, btw - I'll get them added into the next version. :3

Well, I believe Alien Swarm has the same fixes and more. "More" as in links to optional material(vmt) instead of vtf-only projection, ortho projection(would be useful in areas your simulating sunlight) and high/low res for lights(some could be high res and others low). Sadly, I think most of this is in the lower levels of the engine where we can't touch it.

That's great, I'm sure mappers will like it, as in some situations the can look awesome.
