Miau.

Well, i´m bored, and since I´m on the final part of my degree, the prohibition that we had about having custom backgrounds on our laptops was lifted (our teachers want us to be focused on our works), so, How do you turn this on??

I'd post mine, but considering that it's 107% occupied with files and folders (yes, that's right - some are already off-screen), I'm not going to bother. :v

Edit:
Oh awesome, FileDen's back - no more missing avatar, finally![/Off-Topic]

My desktop is a staging area for my datamen to be transferred. I also keep my hotswaps there so I can just WIN+D and cut/paste an addon into my Swap from my addon folders.

I keep VTFEdit there next to the show desktop icon so I can drag a material to the icon and then straight into the converter.

Shutdown.bat cancels system shutdowns.

Shrug.txt contains my emoticon cache.

The programs folder contains my shortcuts.

I keep the icons big to let me see them because I'm blind and because high-res fidelity.

I don't use desktop icons, I use files on the desktop. It's organized chaos, so I know where stuff is. ^^

Haha, that's like what I have. I use the desktop as a lame easy-to-access folder. I launch all my apps with the start menu search.

Enso Launcher <3
It's kinda like a developer console, but for your desktop. I find myself using it more than the Start menu's search function.

This, but I use ObjectDock also for those special programs.
