I'm adding some nice lasers throughout the weapons labs for effect. I will probably also add some more detail later, like sparking light fixtures and props.

You don't say? :o Yeah, it would be cool!
*sigh* maybe that's a little too obvious, but yeah, you're right! :)

For specifics though, what do you mean by "effects?" Details? Flickers, lasers, colors, sparkles?

If I know the storyline of this map, then I might be able to tell you.

How does that relate to "effects?" Perhaps you can give me an example of what sort of things you are talking about from other maps.

I kinda find the storyline help me, I don't know why but it does.

You can enchant the room with effects such as lightglow, add in some detail like the wall-pillar.. um, let me try and show you, hold on.

Oh okay, I get what you mean now. Pretty simple, just haven't heard to it referred to as effects before
I usually do that last so I don't detail the entire thing and end up having to delete it later for gameplay purposes.

Yea, well, you can just simply add in env_lightglow and just add in some props.

Where is the setting in your map?

Security guards working their way up from the basement of an office building to the roof. I haven't really focused much on a "deep" storyline or anything, I am just trying to create some good gameplay.

Excellent looking map, you have the lighting down pretty good in the parking garage.
