I need to remind its alpha stage... There are still bugs present there so i'd like to keep this topic here...

Right, I've tested it and everything went smoothly cept for the fact that areaportals close when ppl die in certain spots (when climbing the first ladder and dismounting at the top, and that one hallway after that)

Getting killed and respawning waaay back is a pain especially with the vents you crawl through. Why not move the spawn points up when you get to a certain checkpoint?

Also the weapons that spawn are not enough for a big group of players, even if you do get weapons, there is still not enough ammo.

The layout is confusing a bit when you hit the loop in the center with the broken core (and the wtf deaths that happen along the way)
I got lost pretty easily, although it could be me haha, why not add some waypoints or something to indicate that you're on the right track?

Not sure if I was supposed to go past that one forcefield before the spaceship, so I'll stop here even though I have some things to list after that.


Good job on the map though, it's kinda difficult but I think it'll balance out somehow with more ppl (1 man army here lol)
Love the ending btw (I haxxed to get there lol)

I played this with my friend. We couldn't find any way to open the hangar doors, is there supposed to be a button or something? We kept lookin for it about 15 minutes but didn't succeed.

This also, but using some ent_fire, I managed to open them
The gunship was "frozen" in a way, no movement, and the model was completely still.

Also the jump to that one tower w/ rpgs... Good concept, poorly executed because I kept falling haha
+ I doubt the average DM player knows that pressing the use+ key on ladders magically hook them to it.

The console that opened the door to the broken core also was too subtle to notice (add a sprite to indicate useful buttons and stuff rather than text, OR waypoints!)

also balance out the average death:kill ratio w/ some health stations here and there at checkpoints or whatever.

Good map so far I love it. keep it up and you'll get a buncha players wanting to play it lol

I agree with Axel, health-stations would be great. But good map with some fine tuning!

I played up to the room with the shuttle, enjoyed what you did in that map, really some classy mapping in some areas, the little things like picking up weapons from dead bodies really made a difference. You'r interior decor is pretty good, not sure on the lighting outside the shuttle doors ( beach cliff area) something HDR wise is set too high.

Yeah a respawn halfway would be nice, strider needs a lil movement.

Really though, the work you put into the room and corridors is really appreciated and your npc work was pretty good, I hope you'll get this baby finished.

So... After a week playing minecraft (lolz) Now back to mapping... Lets get evrything together:
1. Add sprites on buttons
2. Mid-way spawn points
3. Some small improvements...
