Nightmare is a minigames map WIP.
The basic idea is a randomized set of miniature levels.

So far, I've finished "DeadSchool", "KillFactory", "Hell", and am working on "Cemetery"
The concept of the other minigames are in works, and so far are titled...
"Morgue", "Cemetery", "Dead Hospital", "Dead House", and "Crematorium"
[hr]

They all have proper names along with these minigame-names, like "Dead School" is Knet High, but whatever.

I've got good progress so far (I guess)

Before anything is posted about the video...
This video was taken during the making of hell, not the finished product. EoL's look is slightly different, the area is slightly different.
I also did what little I could to stop the crashing on EoL's death/shot his gibs.

I'm happy to accept any criticism, suggestions, or questions.

Mini games can be fun, map looks promising.

For the fake skybox, make sure you use the alt+ right click method to align the textures and that the textures are unlitgeneric (so they won't receive lighting and thus no shadows that show the edges.)

Thanks, the fake skybox actually looks good now. I need to turn down the fake moonlight though...

Oh, and I'd like some ideas for the enemies you fight in the factory.

I was thinking Defenders, Mortar Synth, "Combine" Soldiers, and two Stalkers.
(And AR2 as the weapon? I don't know.)

So, feel free to suggest a different enemy lineup kind of thing.

Ohh, i like the ambient.

Hmm, what a invisible enemy? (i didn´t made it yet, it is a combine soldier, reeskinned with the following code in their .vmt files for be invisible, also, their weapon should be reskinned too):

Kill Factory seems like a name where the factory tries to kill you with random shit popping outa conveyor belts and overhead stuff falling on you while peices of the floor falls apart into a pit of fire lol (all of this happens while explosive charges are detonating which do not a lot damage but push you around)

if you actually did this, i'd be like chaos dodgeball (except the balls are containers and crates and whatnot)

Yeah, it does sound like that.

I actually though about that, but then I was like "Oh this would be too much like DeathRun, Synths are a good idea."
So, with that "Kill Factory" (DeadFactory) changed from a minigame-level to a minigame-survival.
Gives me time to work up the visuals on my favorite minigame :D

(Also, "Kill Factory" doesn't sound much like a proper name, I thought "Nightmare Factory", but whatever.)

Even though I still need to make the boss, "KillFactory" is done!

I've been wanting to make "Cemetery" now, so, nya.

(Anyone got a good proper name for "cemetery"?
