Defiant Class Starship

Just making this for fun/portfolio. Probably never going to be compiled for source. Completed geometry today and am looking forward to texturing.

I suppose it isn't THAT many polys. Maybe I could compile it one day.

More like what use would it server in source is the reason why he doesn't compile it.

I could see it useful in space maps :3

Looks nice man and doesn't look like you would have too much trouble compiling for Source(other then the trouble that comes with compiling any model for Source).

Just so you know, it's from Deep Space 9. So hopefully your idea wouldn't be made kinda tacky or legally questionable by the use of something that already exists.

Ah, so you only ported the model. Then it changes all.

I don´t remember who made DS9. FX interactive was the distribuitor i think...

Not ported at all. Modelled from scratch using reference images.

If you made it, only based off of a object from a game. I am doubtful that any legal problems will occur, I am even more doubtful that anyone could build a case on it if it was illegal.

Then is not illegal. Look to the models "inspirated" in Mangas/Animes.
