I totally forgot i was even working on this model.
Currently making it look more improvised.

That reminded me that in Half-Life/Half-Life: Opposing Force you could redirect the enemy rockets with the RPG/Deagle.LivingWithGames wrote:Nice, I like the idea of it implanted on the Tau Cannon.Instead of ironsights for it, you would be able to turn the laser on for it.
To be honest the light source isn't a problem as it can use the same setup as the Sniper Rifle and offset the laser to the position of the pointer.RocketRunner wrote:That'd be a nice detail, but you'd have to figure out where the light source is coming from.
I think not:Ny wrote:Looks good W0rf0x, the only problem I have is with the stock, it may be possibly too large. I think the original leak cannon design might be based similar to the grav gun where it had a miniature stock and a possible off-angle side handle rather than a traditional gun handle. I might add a drawing a bit later.
Meh in that case the gun was just built to be held awkwardly, could you imagine having the massive butt against your right upper-arm and then reaching out with your left to hold the handle while having the thing repeatedly recoil into your face?Maestro Fénix wrote:I think not:Ny wrote:Looks good W0rf0x, the only problem I have is with the stock, it may be possibly too large. I thought about that also but as 70%-90% or the world are right handed, nullifying the recoil with the weaker arm wouldn't make sense. This was why I compared it to the design of the grav-gun. The lower handle down the centre helped handle the recoil while the side stalk was used for stability and controlling the gun. It's a concept idea that followed the Gauss Cannon which is why they have similar traits.RocketRunner wrote:Presumably, the side-grip helps nullify the end-user recoil.
