Sweet idea, originally I was planning to try doing this but in the end laziness got a hold of me :(

Keep up the terrific job, and even if it gets to the point where npcs can't fit in (don't think so) , there's always mapadds lol

Cafeteria needs super hot curry dispenser that lights you on fire :lmao:

Cheers to W0rf0x for some minor brush editing, lighting, and green accurate furniture.

I see in the picture of the show, that the floor has some reflectivity.

Something I just came up with:
Image

You can use this, it will work on any texture. Basically, you just create a small thin brush, tie it to a func_reflective_glass source icon and give the top face this texture I just made. Reflective stuff just looks cool and "environment maps" in Source are crap.

Not sure why I just made this, I suppose I am just bored, tired, trying to be helpful and felt like doing something before I went to bed.

The current floor reflects enviroment maps, aka cubemaps. His idea could work in making the floor look even better.

It obvious that you can make a map only in 5 minutes, but it will a crap. But they (probably because "x" persons are working on it) in only 3 days? are making a good quality map.

A lot better, cubemaps/enviroment maps only reflect static objects and also has some werid effects, the method I perposed will give you real high qaulity reflections from any camera angle.
