Re: General TF2 Thread
I thought you could only get those promo items thru buying them. Since when can you craft such items? Or is it only with the shogun items?

Yeah, the Rift items have some insane requirements. I bet the same thing will happen for the Shogun pack.
In regards to the Shogun pack: I know that not many of you would like to be reminded of real-life issues, but in regards to the recent sting of disasters in Japan (the quakes, the tsunami, the reactor issues), it would be awesome if Valve donated a portion of the profits from the sales during the pre-order period towards the relief effort.

Kind of like...almost every other company on the planet? Can't blame a business for trying to do what it's meant to do: make money.
Oh, don't be such a baby. Episode 3 will come out.

Well, I have never played LAN with any game in my life, but I'm pretty sure you can still be connected to the internet (and therefore, Steam and Steamcloud) while playing on a LAN, so you could still theoretically get item drops and what not.

The new proyect of MechaBowser: a TF2 RPG server????
[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

(Prototype GUI, taken in GMOD)
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/107288 ... od-%28-%29
People actively working on this atm:
Mecha the Slag - currently adding intelligent enemies
Geel9 - currently adding NPC speech system
Clipper - adding remaining NPC actor files
TF2Ware is very funny, and Advanced Weaponiser is a complete renovation of the gameplay in TF2. So imagine what will do this "mod"...
