I heard about this on Interlopers a while back, they doubt that this information source is reliable.

i think that it's pretty reliable as valve didn't even say any word about anything after ep2 yet, only about l4d, either they simply didn't work on it and focused on making a seperate game out of l4d (called l4d2) rather then focus on their original source that made them popular in the first place...

or they are really working on a way better engine (which i honstly hope, AND PLEASE a bit more love for Modders, as the current code really sucks, the current code that is available on the SDK is HL2MP with OB Engine + some F2 stuff, what the fraking hell)

Yea, and I sure hope they fix the hitboxes. At least an improvement. :/

Hey, at least they are making "The Passing" for l4d2. If this year isn't the year of ep3, it's gonna be the year of major updates.
We will miss ya billy.

It'll come out when it's ready.
I will spit right in your fraking face.
How does it taste? After the lips are sealed below your waist,
You will never frak again.

Wasn't Valve's plan was to make it so they release episodes within a few months... and I will kill someone if they release a L4D3 this year.

Yeah, unfortunately that looks to be the case, but when it's ready you can be certain it'll be a well polished game and hopefully worth the wait.

Or they are slacking their asses spreading fake rumors that they are working hard on it while they're having vacations all the time. So when they DO release it will be lame and rushed. :p

How about that for a change of view? :D
