Linux Binaries?

Post by crazydog »

I've searched the forum and seen posts from 2008 and 2007 talking about Linux binaries, that they've been released, that they would be released with 1.3.4, etc.

Are there Linux binaries? If so, where are they hiding?

they never made it to a stable state, but with the new code that is on the sdk are many linux problems fixed (i'm currently working on 1.4 which is a start from scratch, every coding step that i do there is also tested with linux, so 1.4 will have linux for sure, the only problem is WHEN will it be released...)

server_i386.so

you'll find that in the bin folder of all valve games for example, oc currently only has the server.dll and client.dll there which makes it able to run on windows

Linux is a non-microsoft/non-windows (different) operating system.

An alternative to windows if you like...
