Inabillity to Mount

Okay so I've followed the setting up a server to the word, each step bit by bit without error, but when I run the server and try to join almost any map that involves mounting, the server gives the output that the map is missing. I believe it's because it's not mounting the games that i have installed, and run once.

I have the blank files with no extensions in the obsidion\mounts folder and also put the info in my gameinfo.txt files to ensure that it would mount, although it doesn't to my knowledge...

Any ideas?

*also I have steam on my secondary harddrive with no spaces so quotes are not needed for paths*

!!NEVER EVER EDIT THE gameinfo.txt!!
besides it doesn't help anyways since the mod just deletes that list and rebuild it based on the mounts folder

also, go and get the vdf for metamod as you should NEVER EVER edit the gameinfo.txt, period.

for the other stuff, you need to have all the stuff inside of the orangebox folder (obsidian too...) if it doesn't work you fraked up in setting it up, read the stickys in this section

I already have the vdf for metamod installed.

Also I followed this stickey to the word

and later when it wouldn't mount changed the gaminfo.txt from a hint on another topic in the forum.

Also I have everything inside the orangebox


the hl2 copied after using hldsupdatetool
all of the cgfs from the list in their respective places in the orangebox folder.
