Steamcmd is now hosting Source SDK Base 2006-07 now, so use that.

Tried steamcmd version awhile back. Gets a host error when you try launch srcds. I believe Valve might not have fully completed Source 2007 srcds for steamcmd(Only 2006 is finished). Neico might help you out a bit, depending if he has time.

P.S, Hosting a Listen Server is another way to play with just friends. Plus it is built into Source Engine so you don't need a Dedicated Server. Just click "Create Server" in main menu and change the options, though it will start on LAN so open up the developer console and type "sv_lan 0" and changelevel oc_lobby.
Though if your client lags, that makes the other players lose connection or just lag alot.

alright so i installed OC and its not showing up in steam i reinstalled it and applied the patch.

So apparently it wont work after its in sourcemods folder and when its in there it gives a crash

Hello all! I successfully installed a OC copy within Source SDK 2007 through SteamCMD. Server runs fine but when i try to enter, a warning pop ups me: STEAM certificate length error! 0/2048

Anyone have a workaround for it?
