Guass jump map.

Im making the first guass jump map. Where you need to go further and further into the map by guass jumping. If any of you have ever played a conc map from tfc you will kno what Im gearing twards. Im wondering what the communities opion on this is and if I should have enemies or not?

Alrighty then. workin on the map now. Heres some screenshots of the first part I have done for now. I have a working idea for checkpoints as well.

so small pictures D: , what is that. 800x600? but anyway jump maps are fun so i will most deffenetly play this once its done so good luck and have a cookie.

Thanks, wasnt sure if you guys would hate the idea or love it :lol:

EDIT: and the pictures are small becuase imageshacks stupid and I have 2 monitors so it kinda messes screenshots up sometimes.

hmm, this could be really interesting, gotta jump up a steep slope and tag objects sticking out and such. Gotta have gauss ammo I suppose ;D

Im running into some trouble with the map I sowed screenshots of and I think Im going to make a really simple looking map first before I work on something "pretty".

I saw in shoutbox you had problems with VRAD, did you get anything in the compile log? Can you post it here?

I approve the ammount of awesomeness in this thread.

Send me the .vmf if you have incredibly big problems or stuff like that. Most of the hammer errors can be solved within a few clicks.
