I don't think donating has anything to do with that, gtaiiilc. They're made to support the mod, not to buy a personal model or anything like that.

personally i dont see the problem with the hole personal model thing.
all i use are the elite or lucario. all i care about is being able to see what someone is using as a player model.

I meant a significant amount of cash, if you have been a long term member that has contributed, and I never said they would do it though

I already have a personal model and it has been released on the forums, I wish it was in the mod

or at least in one of the "official" add-on packs (The GTI_OC model JVanover92 converted for me)

Darn. I had these mesark models for a long time already and extracted them like normally. (So not as add-ons) Now I would have to remove them all but that is a pain... :p

you dont have to put them in addons if you dont want too

i just put them in normaly because its not like im going to remove them

edit: just to make my point

donating should not even do anything in-game because if it does it ruins the whole "Donation" part of it. you should donate because you want to help a cause, and you should be able to donate without gaining nothing but the feeling that you helped. (basically donating is not buying)

it already "buys" ingame colored fonts for you on the scoreboard, chat, and when someone looks at you... it's not much but still cool.
