Assassin Custom Model Doesn't Work?

Assassin Custom Model Doesn't Work?

So, while playing around with the OC sdk, I tried to set an assassin to have a gargantua's model (dont ask) and noticed that it didnt work. Tried with a few other models and they didnt work either. Is there a workaround or is it just implemented in the code so they cant have custom models?

Using custom models for the hls models. Probably won't get you far.
I once replaced a garg with a mech model. somethings work, somethings dont.

Generally, the model needs to be compiled with the same animations as the model its replacing.

There are exceptions. I've seen a chair as a headcrab and a wardrobe as a zombie :P

see also npc_furniture for getting stuff to act out animations (I think). Can't remeber much about it.

All the other Half Life: Source npcs work fine for me.
Oh, don't be such a baby. Episode 3 will come out.
