Animations

Post by Gary »

Okay, I was wondering, because we can re-compile models from garry's mod to O.C. I was wondering if I could edit the animations and they could still work as long as they have the same animation calls.

This way, I could "fix" any animations for models.
By fix I mainly just mean, move the way the arms are, so that I don't hold any weapons incorrectly.

No big deal if I can't, it would just make me a little more happy.

I'm having a close problem to you. I have a cool combine player model that I really want to use, I have it scripted into the menu, and it has a working reference text (i think) but if i use the model, it comes out in a T-pose...

This is quite old, I was really referring to how the combine hold their shotguns from the hip, I have always hated that. I can see I incorrectly worded the post.

Also, for your problem you must recompile your player models with O.C. animations. Worfox posted a link to a topic on how to do that above me.
