Just wanted to point out one thing: the keys you get when you buy some doors, e.g: a house may disappear (probably under the map) if you get on them.
Not sure if you have tried this. It happened in _v4, haven't tried the other ones, but it's exactly as it happens in de_dust2 with the bomb.

Put some jewels

Post by xCoiotex »

Put Saphire Price: 25
Put Esmerald* Price: 60
Put Ruby Price: 115
Put Diamond* Price: 200
We can't find gold as bars, only as small bits incrusted in rock :D

Add these 4 Jewels , and the new gold model :D

Price of Gold=90
Diamond is more dificult to find
Saphire is more easy ok?
And the esmerald, ruby and the gold is randon, you choice yourself :P

I jumped behind those cars in zone A and stood on it, I didn't know it was there. Then we got mad trying to search it until I found it under the map lol.

You seem to forget that we just dive in the water looking for valuables, not really mining so the gold bars make sense. Also it would take the variety out of the game and make it look like the map maker is just spamming us with random crystals.

There is a trigger hidden under the map somewhere that should grab any items that slip through the floor and recycle them into the random loot spawning thing, so you will probably find that key underwater next to a pile of loot :P.

By that logic, isn't it a bit odd that you find perfectly classic-diamond cut gems underwater? If i made it realistic it would probably look boring and there would be no way to tell the difference between the green battery crystal things and the emerald.

Having stuff embedded in rocks would suit a map based around mining, you could have stuff like mine carts, wall reinforcements to stop caveins, smelting, all that kind of thing. Anyone want to make that kind of map? :P

Yeah, you're right, having too many mining mechanics wouldn't suit this map, would ruin the "endless ocean" atmosphere, as it was designed for exploration, rather them mining. But still, it would be great if diamonds where added, something like ultra rare but the most valuable item

One idea is to be able to find containers holding uranium (like the tau cannon battery is suppost to hold depleted uranium) or radioactive artifacts that you can sell at a lab.
Maybe even being able to buy a net or a bag or something and making a pet fish for your house.
