map_select_v2

Post by Zteer »

Hello.
I built the map for choosing a map.
A door can set a map as those with 60 piece, and each.
A setup is performed by map_select_v2_modify.txt.
Since the sample was attached, please make it reference.
.vmf was also attached so that it might be easy to build _modify.txt.
Please use, if pleased.

This is very handy, I like how you have it on your server, If the server crashes it doesn't restart on bunker all the time (or whatever the first map) Good Job

This would be an awesome way of chosing a level, just make it so it's kind of a vote system, where the door with the most gets chosen

I like how it takes advantage of the map add. Easily add more levels without recompiling the map. Brilliant.

Thank you.

The idea which chooses one from many doors and makes map selection was obtained from the map "sc_votemap" of Sven co-op.
The map which sc_votemap can choose was fixation.
By the modify system of obsidian, when the map could be changed dynamically, it thought that it was convenience, and it made.

Since I abandon the copyright of map_select_v2, add change freely. :)

Is it just me or is breaking the doors that block the transition nearly impossible?
Or is there some esecret to opening it I don't know?
I will spit right in your fraking face.
How does it taste? After the lips are sealed below your waist,
You will never frak again.

This takes me back to the days of Sven Coop when I made construct and Hub.

Good to give players some choice in the matter, especially when the first map on the list is overplayed.

Kudos.
