Half Life Deathmatch:S Modified to Obsidian Team Deathmatch!

The Classics.

Description:

*Team deathmatch, Red vs Blue!
*Random Spawning
*Hl2 weapons & items + obsidian default.
*Timelimit set to 15 minutes default but configurable via mapname_cfg.txt

Modified Maps (11 total):

boot_camp
bounce
crossfire
datacore
frenzy
lambda_bunker
rapidcore
snarkpit
stalkyard
subtransit
undertow

IMPORTANT!!!
Taken from the readme.txt:

At the time of writing Halflife Death Match Source's content is not mountable in Obsidian Conflict.

You will need:
Halflife:Source Mounted! And the Maps, Models and Materials extracted from halflife deathmatch source GCF to the relevant obsidian folders.
Files needed are:

All maps (.bsp) files from the maps folder to your obsidian\maps folder
All materials from the materials folder to your obsidian\materials folder
All files from the models\mp folder to your obsidian\models\mp folder (you will have to create the mp folder for the files to go into first).

For now both the Server and the Client needs these files in order to play.

Notes:

Map time limit can be set in the mapname_cfg.txt as well as other cvars, gauss jumping is allowed as its needed in some maps to reach usually un-obtainable areas.

subtransit has an ichy floating about in the pool! :o

Why do it? One I wanted to get more out of my Halflife:Source purchase and two because I can and I see no harm in having team deathmatch as a sideline. I would really love to see the content mountable if possible ;)

Ive made trigger_gravity reset the players gravity when they stop touching the trigger. Also applies to when they die in the trigger.

Also got around to making those wall chargers textures toggle on and off like they are suppose too. You can expect these changes in 1.34.

Oo. Thank you very much! So nothing needs to be done come the next patch, apart from me take out the extra gauss I added.

Also Thanks for doing the point_hurt aswell I only recently noticed you'd addressed it (I've got something thats been waiting on that).

And yes damit crossfire! Just damit! So much I had forgoten too!

Whether or not these scripts get much use time will tell, but it was fun re-living alot of it just editing the damn things I had to jump on each map and get my bearings :) The great thing is everything works very well, I had to sort the snarks on snarkpit out, that was about it. crossfire's mortar system (has like combine ion effect), air support and base shutdown all work a dream. And I only really needed a couple of the blend textures and the mortar turret model, 90% is already mounted.

Well its there should someone get the desire to play, and if anyone wants a little 1 v 1 take no prisoners! then give me a shout!

crossfire?? F*** YES!!! I f***ing love that map. First map I ever played in HL1. Hgrunts storm the base!!

I'm sure my first HL1 map was the train ride through black mesa. j/k

Ok, added a new link in the first post with fixes to the rapidcore_modify.txt (basically removing the extra gauss and the ability to disable gravity lift feature) And I've updated the readme.txt.

holy shit crossfire, that was my second fav map for tfc, people have modified it for source(zps.etc) i wonder if we can see this great map for tf2 next :3.

Well what you do is, you open up the HLS:DM GCF, and then you take the map and decompile it with the tool, and then you open it up in hammer and retexture everything and replace the entities?

link not working , plz reupload , and how do i map for deathmatch maps for obsidian!!? once i go in map propreties i just see COOP and there is no deathmatch , please please please i want deathmatch :D
