For years we have been supressed.

We have been exploited, tortured and killed without mercy.

But we've bravely fought back. We never gave up hope. However, just as we seemed to be turning the tides of the war, the combine have finished creating an ultimate superweapon. An particle cannon securely held on one of the most heavily defended combine bases, which is only acessible through air or an old abandoned cave, starting near an beach. Together with such deed, they have also launched an surveillance satellite equipped with an huge mirror.

Our spies suspect that the purpose of this mirror is to reflect the particle cannon down into us, to cause mass destruction. However, the mirror latch has not yet deployed and the particle cannon is still very unstable. This is where you come in.

This is where one of the most ambitious rebel attack begins. Your mission is to fire the particle cannon before the mirror latch deploys, to destroy the surveillance satellite and hopefully their whole base. Beware though, as they will do everything to stop you.

Lock'n'load rebels. This is our day of vengeance. This is the operation R-day.

Also, please use this thread to report bugs, lock-ups, crashes and well, problems you might come across while playing the map, along with possible solutions to them if you can. If necessary, fixes will be made and an updated version will be released later.

Note that this map has been balanced for 4 or more players and may be very hard with less then that. The difficulty of the map increases as you progress through it.

Wooo!

It's finally done!

Wow, this map is really nicely done.

First thing is the spawn room, that is just brilliant! I get to have a choice of weapons not just one smg and one pistol!

Then there's the start bit, Red Alert Music ftw!

The combine don't promote too much of a challange but hey that is made up for by the army of zombies in the cave. The wood planks to the cave are a bit too strong for one person to break, but some Slams fixed that.

The desert was a bit odd how that even while on a rock, antlions still spawned.

Apart from that it was really nice and well made.

Yes, I'm hyped up to play this map! Its good to have a few tough onslaught style maps.

after such a long while the beta can be replaced by the main map.
we will play and finish this map to show our thanks for finishing it.

I think we were about 5 or 6 people, including W0rf0x, me and some others I had never seen before.

Played it, enjoyed it got my arse kicked at the end, was just two of us playing.

I was too busy trying to stay alive to look around much, map is a huge improvement on the alpha.

Two quick things the cloak in the button dispenser dosn't respawn like it used to?

And the green light on the right as you go in the room that has two control panels and two green lights, isn't working like the other, I mean its green but theres no green light showing on around the model.

Nice action packed map, lol the strider part is quite intense,

the cannon part was fun i kep shooting combine and striders and kild an ally screaming through his make kill me.

I tried it earlier when my wireless was being a bitch on singleplayer and the music didn't start

Heres a list of a few bugs:
-Some weapons(Gauss,shotgun,crossbow....)dont respawn.
-Some consoles cant be activated
-Hunters will not shoot the cannon
Also,when at base entrance,there is way too much ennemies...Can you decrease or restrict striders to use only their primary fire?

The first two do occasionally happen. However I did play the map one time and the striders did not spawn at all. Strange to be honest but it caused less lag for me anyways
