Well, at one time I was working on a multiplayer PVP map for OC, it never got done because I realized I shouldn't be making a MP map as I can't even play one due to my internet connection. I can't properly balance such a thing if I have little to no experience with it.

So, I'll go ahead and release the work in progress build so maybe new mappers can learn from it or maybe continue it if they want. It was in pretty early build and still has bad lighting, glitches and the gameplay side isn't done at all. Hopefully people can learn from it, or use chunks of it's brushwork for their maps, or even if it doesn't help anyone in anyway it will at least show a different style of map creation. I just didn't think the map deserved to sit on my hard drive for the rest of eternity and help no one.

Prehaps it should belong in the prefabs section of this forum if its not considered finished in your own opinion and you're wanting otehrs to maybe work on it.

But agreed better than sitting on your harddrive if you no-longer plan to use it.

Having others work on it was just an example of how people can use it, I only want people to benefit from it and if they do so by continuing it then great.

Moving this to the prefabs section might be a better, if anyone that can move it reads this, could you?

The Prefabs section I consider also a bit of a junkyard section where you can place that map that you really worked hard on and just haven't got the heart to hit delete.

Currently I have these maps up for consideration of being relegated to the 'junkyard' ;)

*oc_rein
*oc_blizzard

They never made a public release both were near the 50% finished mark, rein probably 70%.

I've got so much work sitting around released and unrleased I'm getting into a bit of a mess.

Edit: none of it I'm really happy with...
