"Improved" Ichthyosaur

Well, i was doing some tests with the Ichthyosaur (because i read in the older posts of OC that their AI was done from scratch and such), and i noticed that the model lacked of normal maps and rest of "new technology", so i made a couple of fixes to fix the "holes" and add to the model normal map and Phong:

As you can see it, it looks better than default.


Although finally i decided not use it, i added to the pack the occlusion and exponent textures, in case (i hope) other expert texture artists continue improving the textures of the model.

Nice job.

You don't know how to add the AO and Exponent or didn't know how to make or didn't bother putting in?



Edit: OIC you have the textures.

You should add the AO as an additional layer to the diffuse and set the blend to multiply and get rid of having it as a sperate texture.

As an additional layer? Well, i saw that in the VALVe models they have it separate. Also, if i tell you the truth, i didnt noticed a great change between the actual settings and adding the AO and the Exponent textures, but probably because my knowledge on texturing is pretty low.
