1.33 Aftermath

Post by skidz »

Since 1.33s release we have been gathering as much info as we can from the community to start writing our todo list for 1.34. The biggest issue on our plates is the spawn code that was altered in 1.33 which is causing some problems. I would just like to assure everyone that we are working on a fix for these spawning issues, which will come in the form of a new way of spawning into the game. We should have 1.34 ready in about a week and a half so you can see for yourselves.

Thanks to all who support the mod, and check back often for updates!

Hi!

Great! I'm very happy, that the Obsidian team is working permanently to make a better and better mod. My question is about the Half-Life Source Co-op. The team made very good models (grunts...etc.) but there is a lot of work with it yet: the level-changes, missing weapons, wrong cannons...etc.

I'm sorry to say that Half-Life Source isn't really our priority. We do plan on working on it more though, just not at the moment.

Having half life source in obsidian would be cool, just need to own half life source first... Would be nice if half life source was free, if you owned the original half life. Well it doesn't make much sense to buy half life again if you already own it...

Good to see 1.34 is out soon, just can't wait. Although there seems to be a lack of British players which is a shame :(
