Gauss Gun Replacement
More releases yay. This time i animated a model as a replacement for the Gauss Gun. I remember seeing sparkwire's plasma gun thingy a while back and wanted to animate it. Now i can animate so i did. Yeah. Theres some animations on the gun that are sorta less noticable like the glowing orange part of the gun moving back when firing.
ALSO i updated the draw animation after i uploaded the preview video and me being the lazy person i am, im not going to make a new video.
So yeah heres the video:

If this gets the loop fixed, I will use this FOREVER in this mod. Until Steamworks release either way.

Add a cue point in GoldWave, or send the file my way.
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.

Good, that will be enough to remplace the fixed beta model for the next version. Although i see it too futurist for my style (more HL1).

its very nice looking gun though, i love that kind of futuristic style.
only problem i have with the animations is that the gun points up when it shoots forward.

And would be strange if that custom model be the gauss gun in the next version.Like in the jeep, that has the gauss gun, quite exact as the weapon we currently have in 1.35.That would need to change the model in the jeep aswell but wouldn't make sense.
EDIT: Speaking of models, there are a few def models that need fixing as well.The SMG1 I already saw it in the OC DevBlog #1 so, it's checked.The .357 would need a fix.Going to Weapon Control mode(a.k.a Ironsights), you can see that the cover of the chamber is missing on the right side of the gun.(Thanks to Valve, again *sigh*)I know this is pretty old but, it's good to have it already checked before any other people mention that flaw.
